than Africa with its spectacular wildlife
and diverse landscapes. Not only does
cruising South Africa and the Indian
Ocean allow you the opportunity
to experience the "Big 5" in their
natural habitat, but also the chance
to visit the exotic, often overlooked
tropical islands of Mauritius,
Madagascar and the Seychelles.
Cruising options in this region are
various and include the choice of
either joining an around the world
voyage as it passes through the
area or embarking on a specific
cruise around the Indian Ocean.
OPTION 1:
Around the World cruises within the
region - depending on the duration
of the cruise- call at Port Louis
(Mauritius), Tulear (Madagascar),
Assumption Island, Mahe, Port Victoria
(Seychelles) Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar
(Tanzania) and various South African
ports including Richards Bay, Durban,
Cape Town and/or Port Elizabeth.
OPTION 2:
Specific regional cruises will typically
be roundtrip to Durban (South
Africa), calling at a combination of
destinations some of which being
Fort Dauphin (Madagascar), Port Louis
or Nosy Be (Mauritius) Port Victoria
